Eco Sustainability

ALBA S.r.l. pursues a "Green" policy for managing its activities, aimed at minimizing the effects on the environment and on the health of workers

In particular, the environmental certification according to UNI EN ISO 14001: 2015 (EA 33- 34-35) standards acquired by the company, provides a series of internal procedures and measures that allow to limit energy waste and reduce the impact of services provided, on the environment.

Projects and Products

Some concrete examples to reduce the environmental impact and minimize the energy waste of our business :

• Lighting on / off sensors in common areas
• Use of low energy consumption lamps
• Automatic shutdown of machinery, printers and PCs after a certain period of inactivity
• Separate collection in offices and press centers
• Separation of residual paper used in copy centers, in clean, b / w, with color
• Reuse of clean paper after large format cutting operations

• I only use printing machines from the major world producers, such as Canon, Konica Minolta, Xerox, Ricoh, HP, OCE, Roland (all with the European energy efficiency certification with the ENERGY STAR © mark) that use only toners classified as non-hazardous for the Environment and for Health, CER code 08 03 18 - European Waste Catalog, established by the European Union with Decision 2000/532 / Ce.T
• Use of ecological means for deliveries and withdrawals
• Alba S.r.l. is registered with SISTRI - Waste Traceability Control System - a system that allows the traceability of the entire chain of special waste at national level and urban waste of the Campania Region

The company obtained FSC Certification in 2012 as a chain of custody:
Alba S.r.l. he is therefore an authorized user of paper bearing the FSC - Forest Stewardship Council mark

The FSC mark identifies products containing wood from forests managed correctly and responsibly, according to strict environmental, social and economic standards. The forest of origin is independently controlled and evaluated, in accordance with these standards (principles and criteria of good forest management), established and approved by the Forest Stewardship Council through the participation and consent of the interested parties.

In the field of paper certification, two types of products are distinguished in particular::

• Mixed FSC: carte realizzate con percentuali variabili di materiale certificato FSC e fibre provenienti da foreste controllate
• FSC mixed with recycling: carte realizzate con percentuali variabili di materiale certificato FSC e materiale riciclato e controllato

ALBA S.r.l. at the request of the Customer, it can use any of the aforementioned types of paper, which will therefore be used, in the various finishes and weights, to carry out the services requested, ensuring the corresponding level of environmental protection (socially useful and economically sustainable). Ethically necessary and more necessary protection today, for an increasingly sustainable future but also to satisfy the growing requests of end users sensitive to these important ecological issues.
